Google’s Problems Extends To Lousy Search Results

Google has a problem. I conducted a search for the phrase “SEO” and on the first page I got this:

SEO TodayProvides articles and information about the search engine optimization and marketing industry. Latest articles can be sent via email. – 22k – Cached – Similar pages

I clicked the link. The first article on the page was dated Oct. 11, 2005. The question is, why is a web page that is more than one year old on the first page of a Google SERP? And don’t give me any bunk that the web page meets all of Google’s other parameters for SEO.

Of course, the date at the top of the page is current. But are we to believe that no one at this company as produced anything of note since October 2005? If not, then why is Google still ranking this page so highly? If so, then where is the material and why isn’t it on the website? The fact that it isn’t on the website is a negative reflection on Google’s algorithms. Can we still trust the great Google?
